Test before we recommend
If we won't run it in our own venue, we won't run it in yours. Every tactic earns its place on the balance sheet first.
We're not the agency that learned weddings from a textbook. We started as venue owners, hit the same walls you're hitting now, and built our way out.
Our founder Kai stepped into the family wedding venue with nothing but enthusiasm and a worrying P&L. Tour bookings were inconsistent, slow seasons stretched longer every year, and the marketing playbooks built for restaurants or e-commerce simply didn't translate to a venue selling £15,000 weddings.
So we did what every owner eventually has to: we tested. We tested ad angles, brochure layouts, follow-up sequences, brand redesigns, social formats. We threw out what didn't work and doubled down on what did.
By 2023 we'd quietly built our own CRM, VenueFlow, because no off-the-shelf system understood wedding sales cycles. By 2024 our own venue had grown 10x. And by then, other venue owners were knocking on the door asking how we did it.
That's how The Wedding Marketers was born. We never planned to be an agency. We just had a system that worked, and venue owners who needed it.
Kai takes over the family wedding venue. 20 weddings a year. No real brand. No marketing system. No plan beyond hoping enquiries arrive.
Targeted Facebook ads paired with a rebuilt brochure double the venue's bookings in 12 months. Proof that the playbook needed to be venue-specific.
What was an internal system becomes an agency. The first 10 partner venues come on board within months.
Fed up with generic CRMs, we build our own. Every lead, every tour, every follow-up, designed around how wedding venues actually sell.
The system scales the family venue past 200 weddings per year, through a pandemic, while most venues struggled to stay open.
We work with venues across the UK, Europe and beyond, and our own venue still hosts 200+ weddings a year as our live testing ground.
If we won't run it in our own venue, we won't run it in yours. Every tactic earns its place on the balance sheet first.
Cost per lead, cost per tour, cost per wedding. No vanity metrics, no smoke. Live in your VenueFlow CRM whenever you want to look.
We work with a small number of venues so each one has a real strategist on speed-dial, not a ticket in a queue.
Behind every account is a small, dedicated team of strategists who've been in your shoes.
