When a marketing agency builds a website for you, it usually lives on their platform, under their account, with their hosting. If the relationship ends, you face a difficult choice.

Pay them to migrate everything to your name, which often runs into thousands of pounds. Start over with a new agency and lose your search rankings, traffic, and content. Or stay with an agency you have outgrown because leaving costs too much.

We have seen this happen to venues we onboarded after they left other agencies. It is not how a partnership should work.

What You Own

Your domain

Registered to you, billed to you. We never put a client domain in our name, even temporarily.

Your hosting

Your website lives on a Cloudflare account in your name. We are added as administrators to manage everything for you.

Your code

The website's underlying files live in a private code repository we build during the engagement. On offboarding, we transfer ownership to you.

Your analytics

Google Analytics and any tracking tools are set up on your accounts, not ours. Your historical traffic data goes with you when you go.

Your enquiry data

Form submissions can be routed wherever you choose. During our engagement, they flow into our shared system for follow-up and reporting. On offboarding, we redirect them to your chosen system in minutes.

If we ever part ways, here is the entire process.

We hand over the GitHub repository containing your entire website to your account. You own every file.

Remove ourselves from hosting

One click in your Cloudflare account removes our access. The site continues running uninterrupted.

Redirect your enquiry forms

We update the form destination to wherever you want enquiries to land next. Takes about ten minutes.

Hand over the documentation

Every site comes with a written handover pack and a short video walking through how everything works.

Send a final invoice and a thank you
